What we offer
Alternative provision with education at its core
At Renew, re-engagement does not mean stepping away from education.
We provide personalised academic support alongside vocational, physical and real-world learning — helping young people continue to access the curriculum while rebuilding the confidence, relationships and skills they need to succeed.

Academic learning sits at the heart of our provision.
Our experienced education team delivers personalised teaching across the curriculum, with a particular focus on English and Maths. Learning is adapted around each young person’s starting point, needs and agreed outcomes, allowing them to make meaningful academic progress in a smaller, supportive environment.

Vocational Opportunities
Connecting learning with the real world.
Through our network of trusted community partners, young people can access practical and vocational experiences that help them develop skills, discover strengths and begin to see future pathways into further education, training and employment.

Outdoor & Enrichment Activities
Creating different ways to engage and achieve.
Physical activity, outdoor education and enrichment form an important part of our approach. These experiences support wellbeing, confidence, communication and resilience while providing another meaningful route into learning.

For some, it begins with attending consistently. For others, it is re-engaging with learning, completing academic work, developing confidence or beginning to believe that education can work for them again.
We work closely with schools and families to recognise, measure and communicate that progress.

What happens next?
Referral submitted – once you complete this form, it will be sent directly to our team.
Initial response – a member of our team will be in touch within 24 hours to confirm receipt and discuss next steps.
Further details – we will supply a follow-up form to capture all relevant information, including EHCPs, support history, and safeguarding considerations.
Placement process – following review, we will liaise with the school/LA to agree a suitable support pathway and confirm a start date.

We operate in normal term times along with the Somerset school term dates. These are:

Term 1: 3 September – 23 October 2026
Autumn Half Term: 23 October – 1 November 2026
Term 2: 2 November – 18 December 2026
Christmas Holiday: 21 December 2026 – 3 January 2027
Spring Term 2027
Term 3: 4 January – 12 February 2027
Spring Half Term: 13 February – 21 February 2027
Term 4: 22 February – 25 March 2027
Easter Holiday: 26 March - 11 April 2027
Summer Term 2027
Term 5: 12 April – 28 May 2027
Summer Half Term: 29 May - 6 June 2027
Term 6: 7 June – 23 July 2027
However, we will also be operating bespoke provision in the holiday periods.
